Fujifilm adds three photographers to Creators program
FUJIFILM North America Corp., Electronic Imaging Division added three new photographers to the FUJIFILM Creators program. FUJIFILM Creators are a group of creative photography professionals with a passion for giving back to the image-making community by educating and mentoring in, and advocating for, the art of photography. As part of their affiliation with Fujifilm, the FUJIFILM Creators also support product launches, participate in public Fujifilm photo events, and are ardent champions of the FUJIFILM brand.
The newest FUJIFILM Creators are:
Fred Agho is a commercial and portrait photographer currently residing in Houston. He started his photography journey by photographing his collegiate football teammates and his love of image-making grew from there.
Lanna Apisukh is a portrait and documentary photographer based in New York City. Her work explores people and their relationship to place, culture and identity through bold and honest stories. Lanna’s background as a former elite gymnast and skateboarder continues to inspire her work today with the dynamic individuals and communities she photographs.
Jay Ybarra is a photographer from Austin, Texas who specializes in street and portraiture. He’s heavily inspired by hip-hop album art, comics, and movies. Jay’s photos are a celebration of the arts, and the spaces from which these creations come.
These newest FUJIFILM Creators began their journeys with Fujifilm in 2020 as Collaborators, the primary level of Fujifilm’s professional photographer alliance program. As Collaborators, they each pitched a project and worked with FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging Division’s marketing team to establish their stories, create images and build connections. FUJIFILM Creators team are filled once a year, in August.
